Wachtendfeld Clip Forceps have the primary purpose of applying surgical metal clips that can be used on wounds that need to be closed. This thumb forceps also contains small teeth at the tip of the jaws to make sure the clips are held properly. The instrument is designed with an indent on the handle to provide a place to rest the thumb comfortably and assure a good grasp.
